Very small but beautiful. Great location. Our daughter goes there and likes it although it's quite a ways from home. Great for the outdoor enthusiast type of student. I'd recommend it.

We recently attended a performance in the Youth Symphony on the campus. It was great. The acoustics in this Music Hall are wonderful.

Had a fun visit to SOU to check out the campus. The preview day was filled with useful info and a chance to talk with students and professors. The new dorms are roomy!

The trees are changing color right now and there is a lot of space between the buildings on campus. It is a real treat to walk around here.

The home field at SOU has a great, game day atmosphere with that nice touch of a small town. Great caliber of football and a perfect way to spend a Saturday.

a gem in Ashland. Everyone so nice, beautiful city, great weather, fabulous shopping, very elegant and eclectic. A very well kept secret I think in Oregon and California.

We hit a night where a jazz group was playing. Fine hot licks for $5 a person! Our Ashland friends say that the music dept offers enjoyable concerts throughout the year.

I really love this campus for walks. The tree-count is high, the paths take you on gentle ups and downs, the noise factor is quite low considering that the population is mostly young, the glued-to-smartphone-and-walking-into-you factor is not high - all together a lovely place to take a midday/lunchtime stroll. The trees provide some cooling factor in the summer and the campus is well-maintained in winter so you're not fighting snow/ice. Your tax dollars help provide these lovely folks with a good education; why not get some exercise and help yourself as well!

parking was not the easiest. But really enjoyed the spirit of the game and the students were extremely well behaved and appropriate. Nice time

Hi, My daughter toured the school recently...for the theater program...and loved it. Did you end up going to SOU in theater? If so, what do you think of it?
