I have been wanting to visit this vineyard for years and a snowy Sat. presented itself. I tasted 6 wines and took home 4 different varieties. I was delighted that farm to table food from "By the Farm" was offered. I enjoyed a glass of Stone Cellar Grüner Veltliner and wonderful bacon hummus in the glassed pavilion overlooking the Vineyard... More

This place is owned and operated by very friendly people. The wine tasting is done quickly and efficiently. You spend five dollars for the tasting, and then if you buy a bottle of wine, the five dollars comes off the price! It was a sunny day one time when we were there and we sat out back on the patio.... Summer time or anytime, a stop at Galen Glen winery is a winner, we've come some many time and are case-club member that we order by the case, tasting the new additions of the year. The staff are the best, guiding you through the tasting and helping with selections. Or, just have a wine-and-cheese date, enjoying the mountain or winery... More

Found the tour very informative. Galen Glen is a beautiful spot with tasty PA wine. Capped off the day with a delicious Wine Slushie.

Great service. Lovely wines. Nice view. Reasonable pricing. Would like them to have gluten free bread or crackers to go with the wines.

This is where, last year, we learned how to pronounce Gewurtztraminer! As always the late harvest and cab franc are outstanding. Always pleasant and accommodating. The staff are always interesting, informative and pleasant to converse with. Awesome enclosed porch for drinking in the landscape and the fabulous wines. Cream of horseradish and potato soup was the pairing with Gewurtztraminer for... More

By far the best wine we had while doing the wine trail. The staff was excellent. You can't beat the views, either! Everything was organized and inviting. Can't wait to go back!

A group of our friends attended an event at the Glen and had a wonderful time.It was a relaxing Sunday afternoon. The view was beautiful. They really enjoyed the wine and many purchases were made that day. I did feel that they should have had something for the designated driver to drink like ice tea or soda. We have returned... More

A number of years I took a nice ride in the country stopped at Galen Glen, and sampled some of their wines. Their tasting room was located in the basement of their home. Well, take a look at the place now. The tasting room now is a large building located on top of a hill overlooking acres and acres of... More
