We visit every year for the Halloween event they have. Its so cool to walk thru and see all the neat stuff in the place plus my son gets to load up on candy. Everyone is always super nice and all the staff make you feel welcomed which in the end is the most important thing.

It is clean and very well maintained. The displays are well done and the person at the front desk was very knowledgeable. I spent two hours and still didn't feel... More

A good way to spend a day and learn some local history about Anderson County. Traveling exhibits change; so there's always something new to see. While admission is free, donations are accepted.

I have attended the annual fundraiser for this museum - termed their "Gala" - for over a decade. Great party with many influential people in attendance, best entertainment around and great food, too. This museum has grown in its exhibits, as well. Reflecting all of the county it serves, but with several updated and large exhibits. They often bring vendors... More

I truly love coming here to not only view the various historical pieces that they have, but also that they have a lot of activities for kids as well. Quite a few times we have been here with our grandson and each time has been great and educational!

Love this museum. The people are always friendly. Its quiet and you have time to read and look at stuff w/o being crowded and rushed. They always have things going on and new things to see to make it even more interesting. Its FREE!!! I don't know why more people don't visit here. Its one of Anderson's best kept secrets.

This is an excellent museum for Anderson and it's local history. Their displays are very good, with antique artifacts that tell the cities' history. We recommend this museum for everyone. Anderson museum is ran by volunteers and they do a superb job. They also have special functions through out the year.
