We vIsit the Allen Events Center frequently for hockey games but this was our first concert here. The facility transforms very nicely for concerts. Several concessions were open also. As always, parking is convenient and free. We will be looking for future concerts to attend at this venue.

Went to a concert here - first time to visit. The venue was only set up for half the arena and it wasn't very full, but I liked it a lot - I could almost see the musicians faces. However, since I'm used to huge arenas, I was missing the screens actually showing the musicians up close - maybe they... More

Go watch the Allen Americans play hockey. Cheap and fun for the whole family. They gave won the championship 4 years in a row.

The hockey games are fun, and great for all ages. My friends and I loved the free ice time! It is great for all ages.

I can't speak for what the Allen Event Center is like for other sports or concerts, but for Allen American Hockey games, it's outstanding. The staff is generally friendly, the seating comfortable, and the viewing angles great (not a bad seat in the house) The only complaints I would include is that on weekend games, especially Saturday nights, they crank... If you enjoy hockey, a night at the event center to cheer on the Allen Americans is a night well-spent. The parking is free and the tickets reasonably priced. As with most sporting events the concessions are overpriced, but such is life. Be aware that the seats closest to the ice are retractable so the space between the seats can... More

This event center is very sad waste of tax dollars likethe football monument. We went to see a show and the seating is very awkward. the staff was very rude and treated us like we were criminals or something, I'm surprised the Allen PD didn't come in and shoot up the palce as we were not the only ones fitting... We went to a Rob Thomas/Counting Crows concert last night, this was the first time either my wife or I had an occasion to visit the Event Center. The venue is extremely nice and clean, great acoustics for a concert, and not overly crowded. Very up to date and had quality seating. The outside food court offered a wide range... More

This was our first time seeing a concert at this venue. I love smaller venues for concerts! The acoustics are always so much better than in huge arenas. There's just something about a more intimate setting. I was impressed with how quickly they were able to get everyone in-that part went very smoothly. My biggest complaint would be the size... More

Our visit to the Allen Event Center was predicated on seeing what new items were up for viewing and purchasing at the Home and Garden Show at the Allen Event Center this past weekend. I liked the way the vendors circled the main evet Center because you got to see most items in natural light. The Center is quite large... More
