We went thinking we would kill a few minutes, but ended up staying for hours. Excellent displays that provided good history of the area. I liked the photography exhibit, but that's what I'm into.

Many beautiful, special exhibits which frequently change out. I remember fondly the fabulous Tom Lea exhibit. Very proud staff who are conscious of the extraordinary treasurers, human and physical, of this most Texan of all areas of the Lone Star State.

This is a great museum! It has interactive displays that are entertaining and educational for all ages. It is not a huge museum and will not take too long if you have other activities planned for the day.

Very well done museum of the Big Bend area. Great old photos, objects, and historical presentations. Some presentations are video-audio and others are just audio. The gift shop was well stocked with very interesting art objects. All reasonably priced.
