Raspas, kind of a Mexican version of Hawaiian shaved ice, are excellent. Store seems to change a lot as far as the merchandise carried. I've bought great Mexican imports there; sometimes nothing but the RASPAS interest me. I go out of my way to visit...More

Went by there yesterday and the sign on the door said "Closed" in Spanish. Further down the street we talked to a lady who told us she would be locating her tourist shop into the old Raspa location.

We stopped here to relax, talk to other tourists and taste some unusual flavors of sno-cones. We did not try the spicy offering, but we did cool off and enjoy the 'flavor' of the town.

There's not a lot to do in Alpine, but this place is one of the places you should visit while hear. Refreshing & yummy.

Need a respite in Alpine, from the busy hustle and bustle of West Texas. (:>), the Raspa is it!!!!! The place is very old and has a great amount of history inside its walls..

The ice cream got my attention. I looked at all the flavors. Thought about the best choice to make. The Raspas looked very good, but I only had so much room after the meal next door at El Patio. Very historical building that takes you...More
