This zoo is very small, however it has some of the best animal habits I've seen. The tigers and lions are in cages that you can walk up to. It was so cool to see them so close. My daughter loved the reptile house, it...More

I am Australian and I was disappointed to see one lone red male kangaroo in an enclosure at Amarillo Zoo. Kangaroos are social animals and move in packs called mobs. To see this one solitary kangaroo without a mate highlighted some of what I think...More

It's a small town zoo, yes - but it's really pretty good especially considering the price of admission. This is an extremely affordable option for the whole family, it's a great day at the zoo!
