The Amarillo zoo is small, but fun! I took the family and we had a great time with the activities, and animals. There is quite a bit to see, and the staff is great!

We always enjoy this zoo. It is big enough to have lots of intetesting animals that are well taken care of but still small enough to be able to enjoy without giving out.

Although this is a small town zoo, there are a few exotic animals, such as lions, bears, bison. Small admission charge. Worth it for a family.

Looking for something to entertain the grand kids with while in the Amarillo area and this place did the trick. It is not very big but with a coupon we got at the rv park we stayed at it was very reasonable and an enjoyable time for us. Grand daughter was fascinated with the Prairie dogs! Would recommend if you... More

My family visited on a Monday so we got to enjoy the free admission offer. The zoo is definitely small; if you leave yourself two hours, that's ample time to see everything sufficiently. The exhibits were large and clean which I always appreciate in zoos. Although there was a small concession area, it was closed up and even the soda... More

This little zoo is a great place to see some very sleek and well fed animals in very clean surroundings, for $4 admission, it only takes under an hour to wander around the park. You are able to get up very close to some big cats, the bison and some other animals. The animals all look so contented and well... More

Small zoo but very well maintained & animals cared for and the kids loved it. Also next to a very nice park with pretty ponds to fish in and an amusement park. So you can make a nice day of it.
