If you are taking this ride in the summer, I would recommend the early, 7:30, time because it gets really hot there. It was n the 70's at 7:30 when we started, but was in the mid-80's when we finished. The ranch borders the north...More

Very well orgsanized horse walks up to the very edge of the Palo Duro Canyon. Excellent historical talks by the guide. Friendly staff - wonderful Phyllis! This is a must-do each year - make it one of yours!

Even if you don't have any experience, those horses are easier to drive than a car! The view and the history of the territory was great as well. Try it and you won't regret it!

So great. Second time on a horse, so I was a little worried but... Beautiful terrain. Responsive, manageable horses. Well staffed (1 staff for every two riders). Nice history lesson. Flexible with booking. New respect for four-legged friends.
