While visiting Austin my family chose to visit the Bullock on a rainy day. First we went to the IMAX theater and watched a documentary on the National Parks. This was amazing and made me want to embark on a road trip. The museum itself only takes a couple hours to go through but it is well worth it and... More

Really cool museum. We specifically went here for the WWII Nazi propaganda exhibit on loan from the Holocaust Museum. Very informational.

The best part of this museum is the extensive exhibits on the history of Texas. I didn't enjoy it as much as the LBJ Library, but it was worth seeing.

While we had heard good comments about the museum we only had time to see a movie, Rouge one at the IMAX theater in the museum. The theater was large with very comfortable theater seating. The 3-d presentation was outstanding on the immense IMAX screen. This was enjoyable and we hope to get to the museum itself on a future... More

The museum had an excellent special exhibit on the rise of Hitler which I think is now gone but overall the museum is well done with many interesting exhibits for all ages.

I was visiting a friend in Austin and he had never been here, so we decided to check it out. So glad we did! The building itself is beautiful, inside and out. Rather large, so even with crowds, you never feel confined. The special exhibits ("LaBelle", Austin City Limits and a Holocaust Propaganda exhibit were shown when we were there)... More

While visiting Austin, my husband and I were excited to visit the museum and see the exhibit on Propaganda which focused on Hitler. It was easy to access and there was $8 prepaid parking underneath or metered street parking. The beautiful entry was inviting and majestic, they offered discounts for AAA, seniors and students. Unfortunately, we did not have time... More

This museum is a jewel bringing you Texas history close. Changing exhibits keep you coming back. Even if you only have a short time to spend there see one of their IMAX or interacting movies.

The prices for watching movies in the local IMAX in the museum are very well priced and a great value!
