The Bullock Museum is amazing...top of the class exhibits, wonderful organization...lots of summer visitors but surprizingly uncrowded. worth a visit!!!

I highly recommend everyone stop at The Bullock museum if you are visiting the area for the first time. I would plan to spend 1.5- 2 hrs here. It's a good way to brush up on your Texas history.

We've been numerous times, often depending on the exhibits (last one we went to was on Nazi propaganda) and what's playing at IMAX. Because we aren't Texans, we find some of the Texas focused exhibits less interesting. Others may differ.
