The Wood Brothers concert

I like the small, intimate atmosphere. Reminds me of the way Armadillo used to make me feel, standing next to the stage within an arm's reach of the musicians. Great acoustics and... read more

I went on a Tuesday, for a concert... The really good... *The venue is ample, it didn't feel overcrowded even though the show was sold out. *The restrooms were the cleanest I've seen in any venue, and also the fastest line... *Also really quick service in all three bars (one at each side inside, one outside), and decent prices. The... More

Emo's was one of the better places I've ever seen a concert. It's small enough you don't feel far away from the stage anywhere in the place. The bartenders are friendly. There are plenty of restrooms, so there are no long lines to worry about.

I came here last night for a MMA fight event. I had pre purchased my tickets online prior to the event. Did that matter? Nope. I still had to wait in line. While in line they had security search. It was quick and painless but odd going into a fight. We waited in line for about 20 minutes before we... More

Nice size venue for a concert. I went to see Big KRIT in concert since he one of my favorite rappers. The line was long outside since he is a popular rapper at this time. But the venue had 3 bars but the bathrooms where very small.

We went to an ACL Late Night show. The doors opened at 10 p.m. and we arrived at about 9 -- there were a few people here but we sat down and ended up being in the first 10 or so people in line. Everyone was friendly while we waited and there was no rush when they opened the doors.... More

The best thing about the venue is that it is large and spacious. You can see the band play from anywhere in the venue. The sound overall is avg. Not bad mind you. But very little acoustical thought went into the bldg. design. Oh, and the parking blows. You have to park up the street on Burton, about three blocks... More

Went to a show with some friends to the new Emo's location and the layout is well put together; with an upper level (that has a bar on both levels), it's a great, functioning space to experience a show and provides additional opportunities/views to see the band/act. The only real con- and it was for us- is parking. While the... More

Really nice music hall. I expected it to be a little bigger but it was smaller than expected, still not to bad though. I went for the Alkaline Trio concert that was at Emos and it was great, they have a great selection of beer on tap. The only problem I had was there was not many parking spots and... More

Terrible venue. We got kicked out because we were pushing. We were in the 2nd row, right up front where there is no room to even raise your arms. I didn't know you could get kicked out for pushing in a concert, especially after being to many other concerts. WHAT A JOKE!
