Loved this place. They have a huge selection of new and used records and CDs and the store has a really cool energy. I visited over my first trip to Austin and aimed to avoid tourist traps, preferring to stick to independent and local shops. Waterloo Records was exactly my type of record store. Far from the overly-styled, striving-for-cool-factor-so-hard-it's-painful, profit-oriented... More

Two of our adult children enjoy LP's. I found something specific to their taste and uniquely interesting for a few friends as well. Amazing variety and additional options other than vinyls. Staff was helpful too!

Great selection of music and very knowledgeable staff! Wanted good Texas -based music, and was recommended some great stuff at reasonable prices. Lots of vinyl and cds available. Great t-shirts too!

What a wonderful experience for those of us who love all types of music! Vinyls, cd's, t-shirts - just a fun place! We went so my youngest daughter (age 20) could add to her vinyl collection. Excellent selection of old and new. Brought back many memories for me and new memories for my daughter to enjoy. This is a must... More

It's really nice to see a REAL record store still around these days and this one is tops! If you are into music or just the local history scene you shouldn't miss this!

So many CDs! Great selection of new and used CDs. Knowledgeable staff, and appearances by artists! The only drawback we have ever had was we end up spending a lot here. There is just so much great music!

We saw a record release party there with a live acoustic set. Very intimate 45 min show, with meet n greet and a keg of shower! Found two old records while browsing. T-shirts, stickers...parking was tricky.

If you like music, this is the place to be. Look at cd's, records, fun items too. Nice place to check out. Across from the Book People too.

Thank justsod
