Nice walk

We walked the trail Easter Sunday morning. Quiet when we arrived, busy when we left. Walked about a mile and three quarters in. The water views are great. Have fun

Nice park, fun trail, pet friendly and an easy hike. Most parts have shade so even on a hot, sunny day you can enjoy. Multiple places to picnic or swim and close to Taco Deli - yum!

You'd never know you're in the city on these trails. There are many places to get onto the trails, so you can try something new out every time. On a warm day, it was nice to be down by the beautiful green water. Lots of great swimming holes and fun for your canine friend too.

It is so perfect here. I like the 360 and gus fruh access points. They are the best... I don't know why I am telling you all that lol. I should keep it hush. Lots of dogs and families on the weekends. It's a great place to go in the morning before the rush. It is so peaceful. The water... More

Great for hiking. There are also swimming holes. Beautiful cliffs & nature. You can mountain bike but don't mow people down. Turn around well in advance of dusk.

We rented a canoe for an hour, it was around $15. Worth it, we saw birds, fish, turtles, and the sites

We recently hiked this on a Saturday afternoon on a warm day. There were lots of people of all ages and dogs enjoying the trail and the creek. Parking at our trail head was in a residential area and we walked a couple of blocks. We hiked about 2 1/2 miles then turned around and hiked back. We saw no... More

The Barton Creek Greenbelt offers about 7 miles of nature trails inside Austin city limits along Barton Creek. It features several attractions along the way including the beautiful Sculpture Falls. Plenty of nice spots to take a swim along the way. The pros of Sculpture Falls: it's somewhat secluded (~1.5 miles from the nearest parking). The cons: it's about 1.5... More

My husband and I were taken on a special hike with our daughter as we were visiting her from out of town. What a delightful way to spend time with ones you love! Instead of sitting around watching a game or a show, instead of shopping, we went hiking. The trails were well marked. It was never over crowded nor... More

Barton Creek Greenbelt Nice trails close to down town and south of Austin. Great during springs after the rain when there are water to fill the creek beds and min water falls. There are many trails and not all are connected so search websites for maps and locations (not all trails are clearly marked). Best part of Austin to relax... More
