We were in Austin for the 4th of July weekend so our cousin who is a St. Edward's alumni took us to the hilltop to watch the downtown fireworks. Great view. Wasn't overcrowded so my children (1 & 9 years old) walked and ran around. We returned later in the week to walk/jog at the track around the baseball field.... More

Main building looks like a church with it's distinctive big red doors. Nice place to even just sit on the stairs and view the Austin cityscape. There is a small quiet grotto near the field just across the parking lot and another place to just sit and be at peace

I am a student, and I love that I don't have to park my car and take a bus. St. Ed's is a private university with links to Notre Dame. Not only is there a plethora of subjects to Major/Minor, this university is known for it's outstanding business school. My classes are small, and the professors and staff are friendly... More

St. Edwards is a premier catholic university, with excellent Division II sports such as beisball and golf teams. Great education in many disciplines.

Quite the place to chill and visit. I earned an MBA from her and my mother and father also earned degrees here. This is a great place to learn away from the hustle and bustle of Austin.

Color me biased, but as a 1995 SEU graduate, there's no better view of Austin than from "the Hilltop." It's no coincidence that the historic red doors of Old Main look down over the city of Austin. It was planned that way. When the property was given to the Brothers of the Holy Cross (of Notre Dame University) to establish... More

come to the hilltop at SEU and see the best night (or day) view of the city - without fighting traffic....or people! Truly one of Austin's best kept secrets!

St. Edward's University has a small but welcoming campus. The people that work there are helpful and happy. You feel at home when you visit.

The beautiful grounds and buildings and quiet surroundings (even with students checking in) gives new meeting to the word "Peace." Finding this university in Austin was a wonderful surprise.
