Falconhead remains one of the courses in Austin that consistently provides value for money and the kind of great conditions you'd expect from a premium course that's open to the public. The staff are always extremely helpful and friendly, happy to offer advice when asked - from the pro to the range assistant to the always cheerful ladies behind the... More

As an amateur golfer, I found this course to be very nice to play. It was well maintained, the staff was very informative. Being an out of State traveler to the area, I was able to rent golf clubs.

This course is in excellent shape. Fairways and greens are very good. The people that run the place are very informative and helpful The only draw back is they host a lot of tournaments so time to play there is sometimes hard.

Excellent golf course. PGA design and used for PGA events. Private club with T-times available to non-members. Beautiful and well maintained course that offers a challenge to golfers of all levels. The course is popular and can be crowded at times but is efficiently run and pace of play is generous enough for all level of play. Small pro-shop with... More

You don't get much here. The course is below average with nothing to brag about. Pace of play was terrible. There was no marshalling going on and there was a member fourseome ahead of me who were terrible golfers and SLOOOOW.

Winter conditions so fairways hard and greens super fast and fun. Very nice layout and tee boxes, fairways, bunkers and greens in very good condition. Some greens slope downhill front to back! Golfnow special at 1 pm is only $40!

I play here all the time but haven't been able to come here due to high school starting. But anyways, I love playing here. This course is challenging but not to hard where players with a high handicap have a bad time playing. The range is really good and up kept. This is a great course if you are in... More

This course, like many nowadays is open to the public while also having a private membership. Weekdays will find it less crowded but even on weekends, it isnt too bad. Great course layout and lots of sand to fall into. The only complaint I had was the greens were a bit wonky, sometimes super fast, other times bumpy and unpredictable.... More

Love the course and the staff put on an excellent tournament. The employees were friendly and always had smiles. Most of the course was in great condition, only a couple of greens needed work.

Played here on a cold day in February and the course was in surprisingly good shape. Beautiful layout, challenging. Played with a local and this was helpful. Would love to play it again in good weather. Used the range, putting and chipping areas. I always like it when you can practice out of the sand. Staff seemed a little grumpy....maybe... More
