I had a fantastic first visit to the Roosevelt Room a few weeks back. The energy was lively - we sat at the bar and had tasty bar food and truly excellent drinks. The cocktails are arranged by era, but you can also talk to...More
This is an upscale cocktail lounge in downtown Austin serving a vast array of very upscale drinks in a quiet setting dedicated to Theodore Roosevelt. Nice relaxing place to wind down after dinner. Jet-setters hangout.
We went to the Roosevelt room after dinner on a girls weekend. We had booked a table which was a good thing as there was a line. They had very creative drinks and wonderful service. It was busy but not packed. Very cool spot to...More
This is a lovely place to enjoy delicious drinks in a classy and sophisticated environment. The venue is really beautiful, quite intimate, and the drinks are all divided by era, which is a nice touch. Really lovely lighting, and a great band that was a...More

This speakeasy-evoking bar has great drinks with a board listing the drinks available by era (Volstad Act, 1890's) when the drink was first created. Attentive wait staff make it one of my favorite watering holes in Austin

Not sure. We were dressed relatively nicely because had come from dinner but I think anything would go. It's a nice bar, but tourist town so I don't think anywhere has a dress code. The restaurant we went to seemed to "suggest" a dress code, so we dressed more nicely, but saw everything - mostly casual - at dinner, so I think you're safe.
