Robert Earl Keen played to a full house. Excellent evening with great friends in a wonderful venue! We shared a pizza and thought it was really good! The staff is friendly and fun. Great evening!

Making your way thru Washington area traffic to get in line at 5pm to get a line number to snag a decent seat is no day at the beach. Just getting to the concert hall at 5pm on a weeknight is tough. Once you get...More

Went to the Birchmere (not the original) this past Sunday night to see America, and I was not disappointed in the band or the experience. Loved the entrance, but better get there at least 2 hours ahead of time, don't worry there is plenty to...More

We have loved the Birchmere for years, and we often go to hear the Seldom Scene, the very best Bluegrass group anywhere, in our opinion. It's a bit of a nuisance to attend the Birchmere because you either pay an outrageous service charge to buy...More

I have attended multiple concerts here. Each time I have not been disappointed in the concert or food. I am one of the ones that get there early, wait in line for a number so I can get a seat right in front of the...More

The Birchmere has been around a long time but the time is reflected in charm rather than age. Everything is general admission but the seating is very controlled based on the little ticket you receive when you stopped by the ticket office (which you must...More

Saw Don McLean here over the weekend. Great show! The venue is very intimate and for the most part, not a bad seat in the house. The food was OK. Not the best, but far from the worst. Great lineup of shows. Will definitely go...More

The Birchmere has a dinner theater plant, but is dedicated to bringing live music acts to its intimate atmosphere. Many are Bands and Artists of yesteryear. By buying your ticket in advance, you are assured of seating, and can arrive at your leisure, as there...More

First time at the Birchmere. Was expecting a small hall, a bar, and a small floor to stand in front of stage. The Birchmere is nothing like that! A large room, numbered tables. Bring your appetite. Food was great, waitstaff was great. David Duchovny and...More

They give you a stamp so you can go outside and come back in. Didn't see any vapor pens in the theater

I agree that I have not seen them record. It is worth a phone call to the Birchmere, though. Or even send an email to Darryl's Place in NY to see if it was recorded?

Seating is first come, first served. Best to arrive early so you can get the seats you want.
