The DEA museum is pretty small. It is a lot of reading and there are approximately 4 videos playing on loops in different areas; all covering different topics. It appeared to me that the information dates up to 2013. It would have been better if they had more information on designer drugs (names, production, effects, etc) and how the legalization... More

This a museum for learning, and it's relatively small. I stayed an hour or so and read everything about every exhibit. If you can only do some of it, I'd recommend the earlier history sections. Many people touring the National Mall take the subway to the Pentagon Fashion Center mall for lunch at the food court, and this museum is... More

My husband was in a conference so I took off on my own and being a therapist that deals with a lot of clients with substance abuse I thought this would be an excellent choice of museums, and I was right. Extremely interesting and informative, however quite small. Shows the history of drugs in America and how it has affected... More

Right across from the pentagon is a little known museum at the DEA offices. Detailing the history of drug use in the United States, it is an interesting and educational museum to visit.

This is a great museum with a wealth of information. The gift shop has a lot of cool items for sale. You have to park in the garage across the street but it's only a dollar or two depending on how long you stay. They have some very cool displays inside.

Lots of interesting information about the DEA. Allows substantial time to visit as there is lots to see and read. It is only open from 12-4 PM on Tuesday through Friday so plan accordingly. There is also a gift shop with lots of interesting things to buy. Just be sure you visit it at least 30 minutes before closing as... More

We really enjoyed this museum. It's relatively small, but packed with interesting stuff. Oddly, it's housed in the ground floor of a large office building. It's free to enter. I would say it s a "must see" if you're staying in Arlington as we were. The museum has lots of interesting history, paraphernalia, propaganda and information/artifacts from famous drug-bust cases.... More

If you want to understand how drugs have impacted the world over the centuries this is a must see. If you have an interest in drug law enforcement this museum is a must.

A nice small museum. Very informational. Not crowded. (We shareed the museum with about 4 other people.) Give yourself about one hour to finish the museum. That includes reading most of the exhibits. There are videos playing, paraphernalia displays, and a few interactive modules. My children (eight and 11) enjoyed their time here. They learned quite a bit about drugs... More
