I visited Hirosaki park on 28 April and I was super lucky because the Sakura trees are all full bloom. Beautiful and magical. Lots of people in this park during sakura blossom but don't worry...most of them are locals who enjoy hanami. You won't find...More

Having just visited end of April, we were at the perfect place and perfect time to experience the cherry blossom bloom. We got there early morning around 10am before the crowds came. I recommend booking the boat ride for a romantic ride. In another section...More

Honestly this is my first time seeing cherry blossom in Japan. Really surprised I did see it in the muddle of the blossom. This is also the golden holiday of japan. Yes, lots of people but not too crowded. Still you can take some good...More

Absolutely stunning view, everywhere is like a poster.. you can spend the whole day walking around and the best is it’s not as crowded as Tokyo or Kyoto during the sakura season.. have a boat ride under the sakura trees at 1000 yen per hour...More

I would say Hirosaki Park is one of the most beautiful place to see and to experience the best views of cherry blossom festival. I have been there once and that was a remarkable time of my life and that lovable destination.

Went in hoping to see Hirosaki Castle but it was undergoing works. The park itself isn't anything really special, and there were no cherry blossoms, nor were there any autumn colours when I visited, making it a very mundane trip. Much better to get out...More

We visited the park by late October and found that the place was equally stunning when compared with that of sakura time. Most of the tree leaves turned brown and red throughout the park and it was really enjoyable to stroll around taking photos and...More

The vast snow-covered grounds had quiet, serene calm even though there were early morning joggers and visitors to the park. I am not sure how the describe it and logically I know it’s the 21st century but somehow it also felt close to the old...More

The further north you are, the later the sakura comes into and stays in bloom ... we saw full-blown, voluminous, sakura in Hirosaki in late April 2016. If the weather has been co-operative this year, you very well may!
