I really loved it. Is huge, so there are some areas where there are hotels and people at beach, but most of it is empty. Literally. I supose it depends on where did you arrive. I mean, there is not a main entrance with signals....More

Really awesome place, beautiful and solitaire beach with lots of palm trees offshore. We walk alone for a couple of kilometers enjoying the view, turquoise and warm waters. Definitely its a must to know this place.

Very nice and calm beach. You can choose from sit and pay or bring all your stuff. The second choice is better, because the prices are crazy. This area, from Maceió to Recife is a great coral area. Warm water in a green sea. Fantastic...More

The beach at the end of April was warm. The waves and tides were strong, but it was fun to get smacked by the power of the sea.

Very nice beach at 30 minutes from Maceio Airport. I've been there with my children and wife's family for a week. Everything was great. Good food, fantastic blue-turquoise ocean (Caribbean-like), warm water, nice whether and friendly people. Worth try.

Plain beach. Calm waves, but the tide rise quickly. Do not go too far toward the see. It may have some seaweed (wrack? dunno if this word is correct) on the coast, some people don't like it. But it's perfectly secure for bathing.

I strongly recomend to go to Hibiscus Restaurant and stay there all day. The mix of good structure restaurant and a astonishing beach attracts all kind of persons.

Ipioca is beautiful: quiet, barely anybody - almost like a private beach. My type of beach to go for a walk, kick the water, and enjoy for a few relaxing days. My husband and went for a walk in one of the mornings and one...More
