The theatre is even better than I expected! Beautiful building and decorations, amazing atmosphere, very well kept, and great surroundings.

Amazonas Theater is an amazing and giant building in the middle on Manaus City. It is not only a building, but a symbol of the Amazon rubber boom which was an important part of the economic and social history of Manaus. The dome is astonishing....More

I loved the architecture and surrounding area buildings and garden. I consider this a must to visit in Manaus historic place. Plan to go during the day time to be able to purchase a ticket with tour inside the building.

But not spectacular... Beautiful, one of the very few things to do in Manaus, really worth it. The guide was good, they have English and Portuguese tours. Very inexpensive too.

Apparently one of the top sights Manaus. Was interesting to see but not nearly as spectacular as expected in my opinion. They had a guided tour in English for 20 R$ which offered more information about the building and its history.

We walked and so did other passengers on our ship, however you could always take a taxi. There is a bit of a hill. When we went we waited half an hour for the English guide and there was definitely a charge for the tours but... More
