This is a historic place with lots of anciente buildings and many restaurants and souvenirs to remember the trip.

Interesting architecture in a recovered area in Salvador. Felt safe there, because there were lots of policemen. Lots of stores with regional products. Nice street music. Recommended for a quick tour.

This is one of the best tourist spots in Salvador. The culture is Rich, always something going on and great place to watch people. Great restaurants, good music and many things to buy.

This is like a Caribian island, with the very colorful building. Street are quite steep, so be aware when you go down, that you have to go up again, unless you take a Taxi.

As is often true, the real place is more run down than the promotional photos reveal. But, it was a very interesting place, where I always felt safe. It is worth a visit.

I cannot remember which day I went, however there are lots of street entertainers in the main square and musicians also play there. it's a fun place but watch out for pick pockets. have fun.
