I love this mall. It was a great experience I went with friends I just met and the quality of the stores is top notch and there are several restaurant options (as well as shopping). Went back the next day!

Just 3 blocks away from the beach Praia da Barra with the look any american mall could have, but full of shops with national brands and design, that is really beautiful and elegant. And the public... as beautiful, exotic and diverse as the country. Worth a visit even if you are not the kind of shopping turist.

This is a poor mall. Serves no purpose. I could never understand why so many people come here. Fully available. Zain

We only went here to eat at Oliva. The mall was a typical mall, nothing extraordinary. Many restaurant options and decent stores.

Very nice shopping mall. It is safe area with lots of nice shops and food court. Three to four hours is decent time to check it out. I changed money at the travel agency in the mall. There are two excellent shops with shoes and bags.

I took the ônibus to Shopping Barra with no problems. The bus was mellow and took 20 minutes from Pelourinho. It's a middle class mall. A few high end stores, but overall affordable. I recommend going here if close enough and showing up when the mall opens, especially on Sundays, at 1pm. Good food court.

If you need some relief from Brazilian-style shops (wanting something more upscale) or maybe want to check the availability of quality appliances to furnish your Salvador apartment, this will be a comfortable and recognizable shopping experience to an American (not a luxury mall though). It's not any sort of a tourist attraction though. It's a fine shopping mall but I... More

This is a middle class mall. I am firmly middle class, so this does not present a problem for me. BUT, if you are looking for uber high-end, haute mode shopping, this is NOT the mall for you. If you are looking for the basic middle America mall with various stores, a broad range of prices AND great food, here... More
