A lovely building in great condition, many rare and unusual minerals, many mined locally, a great rainy day activity too, and as all museums in Belo, free admission. Most videos in Portugese tho....

The visit definitely worth it. I found this collection of minerals pretty amazing, as a geologist I am, I've appreciated the effort of the young attendants to explain how this museum has settled. And the visit was free! Incredible and perfect.

This is a very well conserved building with a very nice, and different museum. Interactive for children, even though most of the videos are in Portuguese.
