When I was in July / 2015 took very pinion and sweet with typical regional milk. Now in 12/2014 take delicious grape juice, cheese, guava paste typical of the region. Meet the municipal market of a city is to know much of the culture in many ways. There are several shops and the prices were good although Christmas Eve / 2014. The city was well decorates the center. But the market lacks a bath store (painting and signaling) by the city. The staff in stores caters well and the tourist feels good. It has good parking next door. Be sure to visit. Is in camilho for Nook Japanese and on the road that leads to the Christ. You can spend up to 45 minutes on site. Unless you want to buy enough rssssss.

Good variety at reasonable prices. Of course I bought several types of cheeses and other products as the " pinhão ", organic grape juice, delicious jellies of all kinds and " Goiabada Cascão" . Is close to the region of Hotels. I went to walk away from Hotel Minas Gerais approximately 3 blocks. The market also has that air of southern Minas with artezanato site. Just thought opens a little late. Nominally should open at 7:00 am but actually opens later. If you have been in service in the city is the time to shop. For closes relatively early at 5:00 pm. Worth a visit.

The market is one-stop shopping for food (meats, vegetables and fruit), candy, cheese, etc from Minas Gerais. (It's similar to a farmer's market.) The prices are very good. You can find artesanal soaps made in Pocos de Caldas. Although we stopped in to buy "pamonha" (sweet corn tamale) we ended up buying much more. The market has pedra de sabao (soapstone) cooking trays and pots which are very reasonably priced.

The Central Market in Pocos Dr Caldas, a city in the state of Minas Gerais, is very well organized, has a huge variety of food products.
The attendants are all very nice, and can explain the different kinds of cheese, wine, jam, beans, etc.
Really worth visiting.

It's worth a visit. Nov very big, but clean and not messy as other markets I've been to.
It claims to be the best and largest market of its kind in Brazil. Not so.
There are other much larger markets.
The offer of local products is good at reasonable prices.

Nice little place to buy fruits veggies souvenirs cheese and liquor
People are very friendly the only problem is parking...it's impossible to park due to the fact that it's a very small parking lot
So if you can find park on the street then you're good
