Very pretty, worth going to. Trees, animals, a bit of history. Worth going. Just a shame it's so run down and poorly kept. I was told it was almost closed due to lack of funds. Museum itself was closed.

Good morning activity and we saw lots of birds we had not previously seen (but later saw in the wild).

Loved this little Botanical Garden / Zoo/ Museum right in the heart of Belem. The Museum is about ecology and very informative (English labels). It's great to see there are agotis running around in the garden. We even saw a sloth with her baby here!...More

This is a big park with native plant and animal species from Amazon, and also a lovely museum. I asked a guide, and all animals there were rescued from traffic or illegal owners. Very recommended!

Pretty low entrance fee to see a bunch of cool regional animals, plants and trees. The museum within also had a cool exhibit on the Amazon as a whole ecosystem.

There's lots to see and do here. Perfect for bringing kids or elders, ideal for taking a break from urban touring.

Lovely collection of animals outdoors right in the middle of bustling Belem. I also liked the indigenous exhibits in the hall.
