Sit on Bardot's lap!

I guess if you're in Buzios you shouldn't really pass on the opportunity to get a photo sitting on Brigitte Bardot's lap!! Sadly only a statue but we can all dream!!

Part of the obligatory pre-dinner evening stroll, once you've done Rua das Pedras (in the first direction) and the pier. But you'll not be the only one with that idea... It's nice... Whatever... Why are we doing this again? Ah yeah... Part of the obligatory pre-dinner...

Without knowing who the lady is you would name the statue: the traveler. It's a actually Brigitte Bardot, the French actress who by visiting Buzios made it famous. She's staring at the horizon sitting on her luggage, calm and silent.

What boy in the 1960's did not have a crush on Ms Bardot? You can see where the paint is worn off in areas where fans and perverts grope her. I enjoyed seeing the statue and thinking about a slower and kinder time and place.

It's only one more statue; however, it's really important for what Buzios is today. The city is kinda of famous because of B.B.. I suggest to walk by the sidewalk and stop by the statue only to register.

Come on people! You can't say you've been to Buzios and not seen this statue! I mean what if, one day in the future, someone else who's been there asked you, 'Did you see the statue of Brigitte Bardot?' You won't want to have to reply, 'No, I missed that,' do you? I regard it as a Must Do! 😀

It is a nice walk by the sea and the moment you face the statue you are surprise. Unfortunately for me it was not a nice surprise, because the statue has "bad taste" and it is not harmonized with the surrounding area. Has nothing from the "glamour" of BB and the specific period.

If you are not a enthusiatic of BB, why you will go to see one statue ? Ok, you are walking on the beach and found it. But go away to see the statue, it is not a program...

It was cool to see the statue as we walked along town by the water. It's a great walk and very scenic looking out over the marina and boats anchored. The statue itself ok and we were told you are supposed to get a picture of the statue while you are holding one of her breasts. Not sure where that... More

Just a statue of Brigitte, nothing too exciting, funny to take some pictures and that s set, it is located on a nice walking path along the sea but clearly not a must see
