We came to Lagoa Azul as part of a boat tour (you must travel there by boat) and had a wonderful time. There was a wide variety of fish and we even saw a sea turtle! We had to swim a bit away from the...More
Its nice, but technically not a lagoon. A section of water that is bluer, as it is not as deep in that particular area. Nice, but not nicer in any way from the other beaches or areas. Its lovely, I just don't think its worth...More
It gets crowded most of the day. If you stay at the Paraiso Azul Retiro pousada, you may get to the place before or after the rush and enjoy this nice place with more exclusivity.
We stopped here during a boat tour we took. We had heard it was the best place for snorkelling and seen the photos of crystal clear waters. When the boat arrived it didn’t really look different to any other patch of water apart from it...More
Something you cant miss when you come here. do a full day boat trip and visit some amazing beaches and this breathtaking lagoon.
We stoped here in a multi-stop boat tour. It was a fun and lovely area, but our weather was a bit overcast to really enjoy the water or its blue shades. There are enjoyable corals and fish in some spots, so snorkeling can be fun.
There is no beach,if you take a tour they just stop there and you snorkel in the betiful blue water. We got to swim above a big turtle, very cool.
Nice place to snorkel and see the fish. That is about it. No real nice beach within reach of the boat.
This is a place with clean water and many type of fishes. There are turtles, sea horse and if you are lucky you can see dolphins too. Well i saw 4 of them swimming together.
