Out guide Alex was prompt, educational, and most of all motivational. The trip was a little more difficult then our group of 3 was expecting, but with Alex's help, guidance, and insistence that we could do things that we didn't think we could do - we had the experience of a lifetime. So proud to have done this - thanks... More

We enjoyed a full day private hike along the beaches of Ilha Grande (Abraao, Palmas, Pouso and Lopes Mendes), and another half day hike to Pico da Tijuca peak. Ilha Grande was one of the greatest highlights of our trip to Rio! It reminded us of Catalina Island in California, and of the Hawaiian Islands as well. The difference? No... More

This is a quality tour company people! I had Heitor for the Sugarloaf and Tijuca/Corcovado hikes and Bruno (from Kayak Carioca) for the kayaking segment around Guanabara Bay and both these guys were fantastic! Both had the perfect balance of safety versus fun. Highly capable and very knowledgeable with a great sense of humour they both made sure my day... More

Prompt pickup & short drive to the park while Alex gave us a quick run down on Rio. Good advice to top up on water before we set off, at least one litre each. Alex topped up our sunscreen & bug spray, then we were off on the trail. Great views of the bay from the path along the way,... More

If you can have a tour with Gabriel, don't miss it. He is a perfect guide with a deep knowledge about nature. We spent wonderful day with him. As day seemed very cloudy we changed Tijuca peak to Alma trail and were lucky to spot a lot of birds and animals and got know much about wonderful nature of Brazil.... More

We thought it a little pricey at first but my wife and I had a great time and certainly have this guided day as a highlight of our stay in Rio (walking Copacabana on our first day was our main highlight). Our guide, Heitor, spoke immaculate English and, having picked us up at our hotel at 8am, talking enthusiastically about... More

Highly recommended! Gabriel was an amazing guide on our private hike through Tijuca forest and up Corcovado. He knows a ton about Rio, its history and the natural environment in the park. We got in depth descriptions of the nature around us and the history and culture in or Rio and Brazil. He clearly loves what he does and the... More

My wife and I took part in the Sugarloaf hike during a recent trip to Rio. It was an incredible experience. We didn't have any prior rock climbing experience but our guide Eduardo was extremely helpful. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for an adventurous way up the mountain.

Rio hiking organised a two day trip for us to Serra dos Orgaos where we spent the night in a mountain hut. It was an amazing trip and our guide Gabriel was one of the best. He told us a lot of information about the environment and helped us spot many of the birds species in the forest. Lunch, dinner... More
