If you are struggling for things to do in Rio, this place is worth a visit as it is an historic site. The architecture is pretty bland and uninteresting in general. I've been there 3 times for different exhibitions and they were all garbage. Meaningless,...More

This in amazing architectural building by Grandjean de Montigny, with a baroque roof. A cultural centre with exhibitions and free entry in the old part of Rio downtown just opposite to CCBB. If you are in Rio, don't miss it

The interior of the building was being renovated when I visited so only the reading room was open. The building is nice to see on the outside if you are already in the area.

Place that combines history with interesting art exhibitions. An unmissable choice for those who love art and history.
