Felt totally safe at all times. A lovely promenade offering drinks, meals, beach vibes and just “people watching..” Walk the length of the beach then round the bend to Ipanema Beach. A great walk.

Stunning beach and view but not safe

The most famous of beaches amazing views and skylines day and night but you can't switch off and relax while on the beach due to the amount of sellers trying to get you to buy something and all the horror stories that you hear of people getting mugged..... Disappointing
