Leblon with its chilled and sophisticated climate is surely one of my favorite places in Rio. Much calmer than Copacabana, invites you to stay on the beach with your eyes closed and enjoy the fresh breeze.

Similar experience really. Altogether a nicer vibe, cleaner and less touristy than Copacabana. From here you are not too far from Videgal favela and can do the 2 brothers hike.

Not as crowded as Copacabana , this beach is great for relaxation or a walk .Leblon is a posh residential area, with a few hotels on the beach.

Located after Ipanema Beach in Rio, this is a lovely beach located in a slightly posh locale. The sand is nice, the water calmer and warm. Plenty of sun umbrellas and beach chairs to rent and enjoy the scenery or get into the water. Plenty...More

In addition to being one of the most upscale
neighbourhoods in the city, Leblon is charming,
elegant and simple. This posh area has some of the
most famous and expensive restaurants in Brazil, along
with some of the city’s best nightlife (including some
places open all night). One of the best places to
visit is the beach, located under the impressive
“Morro Dois Irmãos” (Two Brothers Hill). It’s a
