Can not mis it when you are at ponta negra beach. Do not go there at night, it is not safe. In front of the Morro de Careca you can take some beautiful pictures. It is not allowed to climb the Morro de careca.

This beach where the sun rises has calm waters and good structure of tents. It is possible also at the tip near the hill of Careca the practice of stand up paddle and canoeing. Easy access and with several hotels in the locality.

Love the dune, they do not let you climb it but it is a vew to see in person. There are shops along the boardwailk where you can find good deals on clothes and nick nacks.

I've been everywhere in this planet and I can tell you that this corner of Ponta Negra is the perfect spot.Warm crystal clear water, friendly and polite locals, nice and cheap places to eat! Felt safe all the time. What else can you ask for?

Beach erosion takes away from the experience here as the only way to get shade is to rent a umbrella and lounge from the many vendors. While very scenic, expect an overload of vendors hawking food, clothing and other items.

This was one of my favorite beaches I have ever swam at. If there were fewer people and a road wasn't right alongside, I would give it 5 stars. However, it was otherwise perfect in that the waves were not too strong, making it good...More

Morro do Careca, the tallest sand dune of Natal and one of the city's most famous landmarks but you cannot go up anymore. For some reason it has been prohibited.
