This beach where the sun rises has calm waters and good structure of tents. It is possible also at the tip near the hill of Careca the practice of stand up paddle and canoeing. Easy access and with several hotels in the locality.

Love the dune, they do not let you climb it but it is a vew to see in person. There are shops along the boardwailk where you can find good deals on clothes and nick nacks.
I've been everywhere in this planet and I can tell you that this corner of Ponta Negra is the perfect spot.Warm crystal clear water, friendly and polite locals, nice and cheap places to eat! Felt safe all the time. What else can you ask for?
Beach erosion takes away from the experience here as the only way to get shade is to rent a umbrella and lounge from the many vendors. While very scenic, expect an overload of vendors hawking food, clothing and other items.

Morro do Careca, the tallest sand dune of Natal and one of the city's most famous landmarks but you cannot go up anymore. For some reason it has been prohibited.
