The Casa de Pedra means House of Stone and was built in the mids of 19 century by Italian immigrants , all made of pieces of basalt stone and pine tree wood the local resources at that era. In 1972 near the place it was inaugurated today's big Park of Festa da Uva ( the Grapes and Wine Festival ).... More

Very interesting to visit a one-time years ago home of an immigrant Italian family, to be able to see the implements of day to day life and the living conditions that they had for their new life in Brazil, they obviously had to work hard for their existence. (A great experience for modern day travellers to be able to enjoy).... More

If you want to see part of the history of the people that came to this area, Casa de Pedra is an example of how the live more that 100 years ago. Nice place to be seen.
