I found this historic streetcar experience excellent. Very "real". I find it interesting the "complaints" and lower ratings because of noise, and English. This mode of transportation WAS noisy, and it's kept original, and you aren't in the US. How much Portuguese is offered at US attractions? Simple to go on your own, and I'd suggest heading there first. Pele... More

Nice streetcars. Not much to see on the route. Leaves on the hour. Decent WiFi @ ticket office. Add to tour of Museo de Cafe one block away

Bondinho is a super old, very slow and little train which is bumbing through the old town of Santos within 40 minutes. All in all it is a nice experience. Unfortunately, non-portuguese speakers won't get any information by the crew. However, for 3.00 R$ it's totally worth it.

It's sad to right it down, but there was not so good, specially because it's a tourist thing but not well prepared for foreign people. The English tour has less information then in Portuguese and the guide (a lady) was not caring about us. Also there were some moments where the locomotive was too noisy.

By 1971 the trams were gone in Santos, driving out by false ideas on progress, lack of forward view, common sense and keeping what was good. There was a test to run the trams again on the beach in the 1980's but failed so the city centre seemed to be the best area for a short line which covers most... More

A perfect way to see Santos then pick where you would like to go back too. The Street Car will not let you off just anywhere, but it looks like they were just finishing the station in the city square when we visited. Serveral differently paint Street cars ply the city streets. We did the Street Car halfway through our stay... More

Go back in time where people use to take the "bonde" to walk around town! The guide tells the history about the great old buildings and makes you picture Santos back then! Relaxing and joyfull!

A very nice way to know about Santos and its history. The staff are very courteous and professional. Also, the price of the ticket for this wonderful experience is so cheap that it is priceless..!! Also if you have young children, they will love it.

There is a hop on and off sistem, it a nice to know the touristic points of the city, the only problem is, you can't hear very well what the tourist guide is saying if you sit on the last seats.
