Street art and graffiti are no where as prevalent as in São Paulo, where virtually no surface is left untouched. This lengthy stretch of high-walled residences in Vila Madalena, nicknamed Batman's Alley, showcases some of the most impressive spray paint murals around. The constantly changing nature of the art form means there's sure to be something striking and new with each visit.

It´s simple location with many popular arts in the walls. Good place to take a nice picture. Nearby there are some options of bars.

I'm sad I only had half an hour there. This was an absolutely amazing place that I could honestly spend hours and hours at!

A fun diversion during a night exploring the area. We took some beers and hung around for a while, getting a feel for the place. I hope we see more of this quality for time to come.

A visit to Sao Paulo's Vila Madalena district and the colorful Batman Alley ("Beco do Batman") is well worth it, should you have time to spare in Sampa. Take the metro to Vila Madalena - the train terminates there. Walk out towards the bus terminal. At the first street-corner, turn right into Tim Maia street and walk towards the stairs... More

This is an interesting location, but certainly is not a "must do", while in SP. On our visit, most people were there for photo ops or to create videos.

Great place to see good street art and take those alternative Instagram pictures. Just be careful with your surroundings, it's an alley with no cars and few people.

Overated hipster space in an overated neighborhood. It is just a bunch of graffitis drawn on walls in an alley. Hipsters are everywhere now.

Fun graffiti in a cool alley. The art changes regularly. The surrounding neighborhood has lots of cool graffiti art too. Nice local neighborhood out of the city so you can get out of the hustle and see the local area. Grab a bite and people watch!
