A lovely old town with shops restaurants and some bars, most with very nice sea views. I wouldn't say it's over run with shops etc, I guess just the locals trying to make a living. We were staying a couple a miles away and walked...More

As a World Heritage Site I would have expected the tourist tat to be regulated. It was everywhere spoiling what would otherwise have been a pleasant old town. The whole place is over-run with souvenir shops and restaurants. Over commercialised. Not for me. Parking is...More

We really got loved to this place. Very beautiful place, nice restaurants and shops. We stayed in Sunny Beach, but we took a "train" to Old Nessebar almost every day.

This is the most beautiful little village one could ever visit with so much history and the most stunning allies and side streets with shops, restaurants and Pubs. Take a boat trip to Sunny Beach from the harbour or a Lazy Day cruise a must.
