At the end of a month of rather arduous touring of Chile and Argentina (including the tedious border crossings by car), we allowed ourselves six relaxing days in the Colchagua valley -- to take it easy before returning to endure that last few weeks of winter in Canada. We're enjoying mostly-great restaurants, beautiful scenery, and spectacular wines. The unexpected hit... More

We had an absolutely wonderful time on this tour! The train ride was really fun as we enjoyed the beautiful scenery, traditional music, and tasting of delicious wines. They even included coffee and a snack for the ride! We had a pleasant lunch in Santa Cruz, strolled through the museum, and finished the day with a tour and tasting at... More

Had a great day and met some great people. The wine was awesome and the staff, both on the train and at the vineyard, were marvelous. The museum was very interesting, particularly the part about the mine rescue.

The tour exceeded the expectation. I did the tour alone in a private car with a very helpful driver. The entire staff is very solicitous and are highly trained. I recommend that you take the special train from Santiago to Santa Cruz.

Visited several wineries. Very organized. Really liked Vina Montes. Food and wine provided. Not cheap, but really worth the price.

We did the full day tour, but we drove ourselves, which cut the price by around 40%. Visited Montes, LaPostolle and Viu Manent. The first two are wonderful, cutting edge modern buildings and techniques, and the latter is old-style. Three-course lunch on the patio at Casa Colchagua was excellent! Nice to have the folks at Ruta de Vino Valle set... More

Forget the Maipo Valley and head south. The wines are of very good quality and the wineries are fun to visit.

We had a great tour with Ruta del Vino! The wineries we went to were great, the guide was awesome, and we were all by ourselves. Would definitely recommend.

We took a full day program from Santiago and it was a memorable experience! The scenery during the trip to Colchagua is breathtaking, and after visiting the first vineyard (wine tasting included) we enjoyed a superb meal in a beautiful restaurant. Then we were transported to a second vineyard and had the opportunity to experience carriage ride, before having another... More

A fabulous showcase of land and process amongst the mountains. The guided tour was well put together and the mix of modern process and historical legacy was enchanting. Even amongst a cloud driven backdrop this location both impressed and inspired. A visit to the heights via a cable car gave a full impression of the legacy continued and a vision... More
