When in Yangshuo you must go and watch the impressions show. The show is directed by famed director Zhang Yimou and uses the karst mountains and Li river as a backdrop. The show also has real fishermen who work on the river in the day...More

This show is probably the brightest memory of our 12 days in Mainland China. The show among the mountains is magnificent. My wife and I were in tears a couple times at the beauty of it. We wound up getting the Presidential seats (under cover)...More

Blockbuster of a production! First, the natural backdrop of Karst mountains. Then the artistic use of technology to produce an absolutely colourful and entertaining -- even if not very profound-- experience for all the thousands of spectators every night. Typical spontaneous behavior by the largely...More

Amazing combination of light and performers on water. Amazing background. Performers not just in the foreground and in the background. Well done. Seating area probably holds 1000 people. Most are local tour groups. Expect eating, smoking, talking, and people taking video with flashes on.

We weren't sure what we were going to see, however the whole experience was beyond our imagination. The setting was magnificent and the scale of the production was mind-blowing. We were captivated from start to finish. Well worth the ticket money!

Simply amazing . The whole experience is surreal and that performance was world class . Set on the back ground of the river and mountain with the many many performers adds to the experience in an open air auditorium. A must see

The show was a mesmerizing display of lights and human imagination. Lasts about one hour. I wish that the storyline was more clear in what was shown, but it certainly was unlike anything I had seen before. The setting between the mountains is stunning. Negatives:...More

Highly recommended. This show exceeded all my expectations, and the night we were there Mother Nature put on a spectacular prelude with thunder and lightning. Very humid, ushers selling fans and water. Every member of the audience received a rain poncho but fortunately we didn't...More
