This is worth seeing to experience the local version of what you might be familiar with in the Beijing Hutongs.

completely non touristy. We went to the local market here after a 70km scoorter ride thru the countryside. Ate some great rice noodles. Beware, they serve dog here.

A nice area if you visit the old town up to the river and if you have a walk around the morning market which is quite big and very interesting. We enjoyed our visit, very authentic chinese lifestyle.
