Enjoyed a stroll along Li River, a boat ride to XingPing Fishing Village - a place where former President Clinton visited in 1998, and a walk throughout the market stands selling knick knacks, snacks, and sit down bars and restaurants.

Xing Ping used to be a small version of Yangshuo. It had a nice, quiet old street, some fine little cafes and a laid back feeling. No more. It's like the Central Government turned on a tourist tap. Packed with package tourists, cheap shops and...More

Worth visiting if in the area (for the rafting, for example) but probably not worth travelling too far for. The few streets worth wandering down are quite interesting but it's a very small area to see.

The village is average, but for the cruise on the Li River, which is magnificent. There would be a lot of activity on the river- please expect that. If you want a quieter experience, head for the yulong river cruise. The scenes are more spectacular...More

This little village is beautiful and walking around, taking pictures on the pier, having the tradition beer fish and climbing up the mountain are a must. There's a bus station and for 10 rmb one can head to Yaoshuo. The last bus is at 6pm.
