Absolutely fascinating place along a pretty river. Tourist services are well developed. Be prepared for lots of stairs, crowds, but truly worth the trip

If you are in the area this place is a must. Go early in the morning to beat the crowds and you will not be disappointed. One of the most impressive places I’ve visited in China. Also be prepared for lots of steps

Amazing UNESCO heritage listed site. We had an English speaking guide which I think is essential. Lots of stairs. Very interesting! Recommend and you need a couple of hours at least here. Don’t go if it’s hot as you’ll die.

I went here independently as a solo traveller and loved every aspect of this tourist location. Inexpensive admission and no hard sells. The walks and climbs can be quite onerous and difficult, but with the correct footwear you should be ok. Worth the climb to...More

Anywhere between 2 & 4 hours depending how quickly you like to walk. Lots of stairs/steps up involved, so you need to rest once in a while
