The course is the old country club and is a reasonable albeit old layout. The price is great and it is easy to get tee times.

With short, narrow, and rolling fairways, this is a fun and reasonably priced course with it's own challenges. Excellently manicured, greens are a little fast and small, but the overall play is a great value compared to courses outside the city limits.

Tad Moore holds his annual Southern Hickory Four-Ball Championship here each year. I've gone four years in a row and enjoy it more each year. The hospitality is outstanding, as is the food and beverage. The golf course, the original Birmingham Country Club (1903), is...More

We played here today. This is a very picturesque course with views of the city as well as historic homes along the course. The rates were very reasonable and the pace of play was 4.5 hours. This is a historic course where Bobby Jones made...More

Nice course in Birmingham in the city - easy to reach. The holes are relatively short so you can get round quite quickly. However as the fairways are relatively narrow, you need to play an accurate game - slice and you are on the neighbouring...More

Inner City Course close to offices and in a very nice section of town. Most fairways are on the shorter distances but there are plenty of hills and obstacles to make it challenging. Older but nice facility with close parking. Redone about 5 years ago....More

If you don't want to drive you can still play golf. You might hit your driver twice. Most holes are short and non memorable. There is a driving range if you want to hit balls after work.

I experienced an enjoyable round as I was in town for family get together and had morning tee time. First of all, small clubhouse with small grill with nice choices to begin day. Second, the payment process and Starter did a good job as I...More

Green fees about average or a little high for a municipal course. Walkers allowed. Back nine short and more hilly. Good advantage for women players. Interesting holes.

Shorter course - greens and fairways are well maintained. Club house is a little old, but location is great if you are conducting business in downtown Birmingham.
