Attending my best friends wedding which was held inside and not outside. Beautiful and accommodating space for wedding parties to get dressed, lovely backdrop for pictures, great space for a small intimate function/event.

I love these gardens, and there is no admission charge. It takes many volunteers to keep these gardens beautiful; as a gardener, I'd love to see more money spent to repair the walking paths, and maintain the gardens. It's so refreshing to see how many people frequent the gardens.

The Birmingham Botanical Gardens is across the street from the Zoo, meaning visitors can literally spend the day walking from one site to the next and enjoy nature at its best. The wildflowers, peaceful gardens, sculpture, and walking paths at the Botanical Gardens are world class...and free. A really amazing opportunity to enjoy the tranquility of a Japanese Garden, experience... More

Winter isn't the best time to visit, but we still enjoyed our trip. We will definitely come back in the spring. So many walking trails it is easy to become lost in the beauty. Lots of different themes. Bring your walking shoes.

Beautiful park made for a really nice diversion. Give yourself a couple hours to explore the full garden.

This park is huge with 37 acres of plants and many paths to walk. Great way to spend afternoon in the sun.

In addition, to viewing the gardens, you can purchase plants and visit the county library. A great place to meet up with friends for lunch and dine at the Garden's restaurant.

The plants and facilities are top notch. This is a must see for anyone that is interested in plants and enjoys going through both formal gardens and beautiful facilities.

I’m not sure what draws me to gardens. Maybe some longing to be as a child again in the company of my parents. They would often drag me and my siblings to Lincoln Park in Chicago to stroll among the flower beds. Not the most exciting way to spend an afternoon for a rambunctious boy. But something must have captured... More

Even though it was winter and there was not alot in bloom, the garden was beautiful. I never realized how many different varieties of plants there are. Large garden and enjoyable to walk around.
