We visited in mid May and the lake was bone dry. We viewed the lake from the scenic bus as we went up and down to the Long Lake.

Basically nothing much to see except for a wider mountain-lake picturescape. Another great way to enjoy fresh air away from the bustling tourist crowds in the park

This seasonal sea is sensational. The waters are great , the surroundings are majestic and it is set in a very beautiful part of Jiu Zhai Gou valley. Just visit all the other places.
