If you're looking for an old China experience with the sights and smells of Cathay (picture upturned roof eaves, horse drawn carts, agricultural scenes) this could be it. Excuse the march of 21st century China's progress seen in WeChat transactions, nationalised car industry and Baidu....More

English version below Una excelente opción para excursiones desde Dali. Hermosa arquitectura naxi, bastante bien conservada aunque con restauraciones y algunas partes en decadencia. We spent about half a day here taking in the sites & sounds of the town. While still an "old town" in the area, it's not nearly as commercialized as Dali Gucheng. This particular town, not far from Zhou Town, sells a lot of the...More

Xizhou Baba tastes savoury and crispy, the chef offers the sweet and the salty, both of them are very delicious. They were sold in many places, but in my opinion the Xizhou Baba with best flavour was cooked by 香酥园 in Xizhou Square.
