We visited the coastal resort of Bol, on the southern coast of Brac, during the course of a bus tour, but decided not to walk to the horn-shaped beach, as it was too far. Instead, when our bus took us to the summit of Vidova Gora, we had a magnificent view of the 'Gorden Horn' from above. Distance really lends... More

Some very warm wind is on that spot all the time. This makes getting out of water a pleasant experience even in September. Who is fond of sports which involve wind this is great spot. We rented board fro stand up peddling and that was nice pass time. Town is small and not very interesting. There are boat trips to... More

An interesting phenomenon which from a distance looks like a stretch of golden sand but which is in fact made up of limestone pebbles of various sizes.

The Golden Horn is sold as the beach to be see at, that's probably the cade out of holiday season. When we arrived we found a good parking area cliffe by at 7 euros for the day. A short walk and we found ourselves at a 'nice' pebbly beachclose to the sea. Within an hour the whole of the Golden... More

The golden horn at Bol is beautiful but not as impressive as the pictures. Yes the water is very clear and the color is turquoise but it is much smaller - a few hundred meters long and finding as spot on the beach can be hard. There are nice cafés and bars alone the walk to the beach.

The tourist office was easy to find once we got there and the staff was very helpful in advising as to what we could accomplish in just a few hours, unfortunately most things were closed because... I would highly recommend visiting Golden Horn beac in Bol. The whole town is picturesque and well kept. The beach is what you dream any Mediterranean beach to be; calm crystal clear water, golden sand. Great bars and food. No crazy drinking party crowds. It was sophisticated and relaxing.
