More touristy than I had thought, but still very enjoyable. Parking for HRK 20 for a day per car. Outstanding place for buying or trying local truffles.

Old walled town on the top of a hill, surrounded by forest and packed with lovely bars and restaurants. Driving up feels like something out of a fantasy novel. Absolutely beautiful!

It was a great place to be for our first anniversary. Quiet, great views, great food. Truffles make great seasoning on almost anything they serve - pasta, cheese or salad.

Small place surrounded with a nice nature and a river Mirna. Stunning view from the top but i would not stay longer than 1 day here.

I've seen my share of walled cities, but Motyovun certainly stands out. It is well preserved, small and yet impressive. Absolutely worth a visit.

We left our car on the parking and took bus upside. A nice walk in the old city. We tried some truffle tasting. Very pittoresque. A must do on a half day in Istria.

You will love being in a less crowded walled city (especially if you have been in Dubrovnik when a cruise ship or four hit...). Lovely views, uncrowded and simple.
