Great bell tower on top of Motovun. Giving one of best views in Croatia. If you go there, make sure u climb on top of it.

There are many bell towers across Croatia, but this one has special photography. Lovely little square.

You definitely won't miss the Bell Tower as this is part of the Motovun old town. We couldn't get in when we visited in October just like the church and the tourist office all locked up. Didn't mind it a bit as you don't get the crowd in October! It's rather nice to get Motovun all to ourselves. If you... More

110 stairs to the top - BE CAREFUL, wear practical shoes and clothing and mind the railings. Sweeping views. Do NOT RING the bells!

Having visited Rovinj, Porec and Vrsar and climbed the bell towers there it was a no-brainer to decide to climb this one too and why do you climb it - for the views of course. For a few Kuna you get a ticket in the adjacent church and carefully climb the typical ladder stair. What's different here is that the... More

The bell tower of Motovun, a landmark dominating over the entire landscape of the middle Mirna valley. The tower is 27 meters high and was built in the 13th century as the town’s main tower and observation post.Worth to visit.
