Would not miss this place, it is beautiful, but be warned that it is crowded. Unfortunately, they do not stagger entries, so it can get pretty congested on the trails. Lots of options for areas to walk depending on how much time and/or endurance you...More

Go. Hike for hours. But get your serenity on. You might need to really tap into it so the teaming hordes don't disturb your time in this undisturbed beauty!

While not the overwhelming experience of big falls (Niagra, Iguazu), Plitvice is worth the visit. We arrived in the afternoon and did the upper falls then. We stayed locally that night and did the lower falls the next morning, which we liked even better. Make...More

I went here as our honeymoon trip with my husband. It was really worth it! This park has so many routes to choose but the entrance fee is still the same, about 110 kuna. We arrived here at 10 am, and the queue to buy...More

The park is clean, well maintained and the falls are magnificent. The only downside is the amount of tourist you will have to share it with. Not kidding, they are constantly delivered by the busload! We went really early in the morning which is recommendable...More

Our day trip to Plitvice Lakes was great. Our tour guide Petar Pulić was very interesting to listen to on the bus trip to and from Split. He has very good knowledge on the history of Coatia and was easy to understand. Petar's tour of...More

It was really nice and warm. Mid 20's Celsius. No bugs either. But we had a beautiful sunny day. Take a light jacket if it's cloudy
